Implementation Plan

Future CLASS for Diverse Learners

Future CLASS  is assuring a minimum of 120 general education teachers attain their Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement/certification by August 2014 by demonstrating their knowledge, skills, and job-embedded supports to implement a culturally and linguistically appropriate and responsive multi-tiered system of supports within their classrooms, while an estimated 14,400 ELL students and families will be served through increased support systems that include English classes for parents and increased document translation for the two district’s most frequently used forms, handbooks, and applications.

Check the Task List for a detailed breakdown of tasks and responsibilities of the Future CLASS project.
