OFLA Camp

LAL’s board hoped to double the number of CPS kids we send to Camp OFLA in Bellville, Ohio to continue their world language studies. We were overwhelmed to have FORTY-ONE (41) students returned their “I WANT TO GO!” forms. We budgeted for 12!

These amazing students will hone their world language skills & cultural understanding through: sports, singing, games, campfires, cooking, dancing, hiking, performances, nature study, arts & crafts, culinary experiences and much more!

With the exponential increase LAL must turn the community to ask for assistance in assuring all these enthusiastic students are afforded the opportunity of attending a residential world language camp right here in Ohio. Camp is for students in grades 3 thru 8. All our students are on free and reduced lunch and have been studying a world language.

The families are required to pay a $50 deposit to confirm their space, along with a paragraph from the student explaining why they want to attend, attend all planning meetings and a parental description of the financial need.

Camp cost per student is $425 (after the family deposit) Anything you can donate will be a HUGE help!!
